hedd-wyn
Hi mate I applied November last year and took about two months altogether (including the holidays) My FLO told me to ring him if the SCG hadn't arrived within two weeks following the interview. It didn't so gave him a ring and was on my doorstep within the week. Quite happy with the service and North Wales Police are very helpful and my FLO didn't mind me ringing him on his mobile, in fact he advised me to if I had any questions about anything. Whereabouts are you? Regards Carwyn
PatK100
Hello he lives in Leeswood near Mold and has just rung the Licencisng Deparment and they told him the application has gone for review what that means :-(
hedd-wyn
That could mean that the application has been passed on to the chief to be reviewed before being signed and that's routine. I'm not an expert mind, and i'm sure someone someone on here knows the answer. If I were you I would start another thread asking what the definition of 'application gone for review' you probably would get more people on board. Hope this helps Pat Carwyn

Albert 888
Another one, thought they only had one in are area, live in Buckley. I must have rung them about 10 times, and they do mark down every time you ring them. Its just a waiting game last time I spoke to the nice lady on the end the phone they where still dealing with septembers requests.
PatK100
I must admit when they were in Prestatyn the lady there was much more helpful.

Walker56
Mine took about six weeks after FLO visited same guy as mentioned , really helpful nice guy checked my cabinet and told certificate should be with me once its processed. He also said if I have any questions or problems I could ring him on his mobile.
PatK100
The bit thats worrying me is when he rung they said the application has gone for review - could be it's part of the normal pocess but I think they could have said something a little more meaningful. Wouldn't worry too much you've still got two weeks to get to my six week wait , It could take longer just a waiting game unfortunatly
jay222
Think mine took about a month , but a recent variation took over 5 months. I thought they were still in Prestatyn too
JanKelly
Hi Pat - (new to this forum so hi to all). I've just relocated from Cork and will be working in North Wales for at least the next 6 months. My SGC application went in 5 weeks ago, I haven't heard anything back yet - Just wondered how you were getting on Pat?
