chrisv Posted September 30, 2006 Report Share Posted September 30, 2006 All the suggestions above are good, other powders that are popular in 223rem are Vit N130 & N133, H322 and Benchmark. Your fast twist barrel should shoot anything up to around 75/80 grain bullets. (Hornady say 60gr Vmax needs 10" twist). 50/55s will probably do everything you want though, unless you want to do long range target shooting.
