moor man Posted November 29, 2012 Report Share Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) Most have success with a primos power crow (loud), (they do a couple of others too), others include The Sam Neyt call (pricey but good) and flambeau MAD call (not readily available...ebay? but Ive found them good). Im sure there are more but Im not familiar with them. Dont get the ACME small black one, its too high pitched. cheers moorman Just seen MAD call on evibay for a tenner. steve_b_wales Posted December 1, 2012 Report Share Posted December 1, 2012 The Primos Power Crow caller is about the best on the market by far. It does everything, and more, than other callers that cost 3 times as much. Like most things, the Primos has to be used correctly, and practicing with it is recommened. Once you learn how to use it properly, it is a suberb piece of kit. I have had great success using this caller. As mentioned, the ACME caller is too high pitched for Crows, but is effective for Jackdaw's. But you can get Jackdaw sounds out of the Primos, and many more as well Steve.
