shinybum
on thursday i visited my usual gun shop, looking around i spotted said gun and was smitten by it, needless to say impulse purchase followed. the gun was used but looked as new in the lighting in shop, when at home in natural light you could see very light rust pitting on outside of barrel, first disapointment, went out in evening first shot misfire then another later, put shells through my friends Hatsan no problem. went out next morning and more misfires, so back to shop, who i have to say were brilliant and did a refund. My question is, what makes a good semi auto when you pay big money for big names and still get problems.
RAMMER BURT
i owned a beretta a400 for 18 months from new after 100 shels it started to chip away at the ejection port to the point were it was sharp to the touch i had to take the gun apart and file the alloy reciever to get ride of the sharpnes,i watched loads of vids on youtube abought how the concept of the a400 come abought from beretta stating that they had put a million rounds though said gun in deveiopment and it was perfect and ready for general release on the newer models they now have a tappered ejection port to stop this happening,so in my mind the design was flawed from the start,in 1977 i bought a brand new benelli 121 and i have to say even to this day after 400k carts though it it looks spot on,i dont think the quality is their any more in guns unless you pay a small fortune

Mazy
Hi, I bought a Vinchi 12 bore over two years ago it's had apx 8k shots through it and, it's hardly missed a beat.It doesn't work to well with 24 grams but use 28's and there's no problems.I use it for clays and hide shooting and use a bore snake on it after every outing and give it a strip clean after every 1k shots, with some cartridges it could probably go 2k before needing a clean.I use the cheapest cartridges I can find for the job. It's light easy to swing and I love it.
