lozrob
just got back from a full days pigeon shooting , or not, it turned out to be watch them instead. my permission of about 400 acres has 3 biggish woods down one side , (which im not allowed in ) and about 1000 pigeons were flying from one to the other to the other and back all day. no matter what i tried i couldnt tempt them to my decoys. although to be honest there is no food for them on the fields i shoot. and there must be loads of natural food for them in the woods. could i be cheeky and ask if anybody else has the opposite could i come with them, i have all my own gear, 303 sa , and lots of enthusiasm . cheers. Heppy1148
I find that sometimes too many decoys can put birds off from coming into a pattern, perhaps just try four-ish decoys in an 'L' shape, just to draw them. Were you using a wurly? Good Luck
