TaxiDriver Posted January 1, 2013 Report Share Posted January 1, 2013 Finished work at 4AM (with the phone still ringing randomly until about 8.30-9am) Got up at 10am for a job at 11.15, googled the venue I was taking the group of people to for a 60th Birthday party/dinner just to make sure I knew where I was going. Message on the venue's website saying they had gone into receivership as of the 21st December and any bookings after this date were cancelled Had to phone the customer and ask if they knew ? They went and checked the website, tried ringing = no reply, no answerphone = NOTHING Fortunately they hadn't paid any money by way of a deposit.
