A good private school in Edinburgh from ages 5-18 will set you back about £112,000. Add on university (I'm assuming it won't be free) at £50k and it's far cheaper than the SE I agree about the last thing on the CV but they've got to get to that Uni first........ You haven't factored in fee inflation. Typically it has been in excess of 5% pa. If you prepay you will get a bit of relief from that but not all!
