Salop Matt
I have a Mossberg 500 pump and its rugged reliable and does the job very well and would have no hesitation adding a Mossberg semi-auto to my clooection ! Although my semi auto of choice that i have is a Benelli Semi-auto M2. Its got to better than a Hatsan to ! ATB Matt
TJ91
Barrel length dont matter. I know of people using 26inch barrels
anser2
Just make sure the gun is steel proof for 3 inch shells and not more than 1\2 choke ( unless you are using a steel after choke ).
big bad lindz
Hi Night Owl, Whats the reason you cant use your Mossberg for fowling at home. You say you use it for pigeon & crows, I assume its a 3 shot and not a 5 shot. If its a 5 shot you should not be using it on the foreshore in Scotland. Although I am sure that there some people who will. Just dont get caught. BBL
night owl
hello mate the reason i can not use the gun for wildfoul back home is because duck and geese are not on the game list hence if i shoot one im going to be in the **** with the law lol this is why we have to travel to the uk etc to shoot wildfoul as for the gun theres not many restrictions here regarding guns . if i wanted i could have interchangeble drum mags lol which would be intresting as they do them for the mossberg but yes mate i will be getting it in the 3 shot to comply with uk/scotland laws cheers gavin
jamesneale89
Why don't you just buy a mag plug or only put 1 in chamber 2 in mag? Rather than buying a new gun

johnnytheboy
I had a mossberg 935 in 28" barrel and it was fine for wildfowl and a maxus that was 26" and it was fine as well, they are longer than my over and under as you have the barrel length and action as well, I sold both as i was skint but I would buy both again, the mossy was spot on for foreshore shooting!
