labstaff
Gundogs. Their learning chain by Joe Irving. I found it an exceptional book.
kent
PRA Moxon and Guy Wallace are just about the two best gundog training writers of all time IMO. Moxon because he was there at the beginning of todays thought chain and Wallace because he talks of actual shooting dogs if they be spaniels for the rough shooter, retrievers for the game shot or tracking dogs for the deerstalker. There are many other good books but these two stand out. It must also be said many of the best trainers of all times couldn't write a legible paragraph let alone a book! turbo33
John Halstead......... I bought a video years ago. It was no nonsense, straightforward. Whilst he's a Lab man, I used it to train a springer on advanced retrieving with great success. http://drakeshead.co...y=Sandra & John Edited January 17, 2013 by turbo33
