Dibs
I fancy a semi in the cabinet for the odd semi comp etc and also for the Beretta open each year so I fancy a Beretta. I know the sensible money would buy a conventional Beretta semi but I'm drawn towards one of the last UGB25's brand new. Sometimes sensible just seems boring! Anyone got one? What's your thoughts? mickmep
got a trap monte carlo fully adjustable one. love it. mine is around 2 years old and came with the 10 year transferable warranty. the only negative i can think of is that theres no ejector, so if youre shooting trap and have to unload to move stand its can be a bit of a pain till youve got the hang of it. normal beretta semi auto issue with extended chokes that work themselves loose, but again not a problem. very soft shooting and mines been 100% reliable. RAMMER BURT
dont do it , i have seen them fall apart at comps as their is a roll pin holding the plastic latch on, on the + side they are now down to £1500 brand new ,cost over £2800 a few years back
figgy
Mate of mine and Kdubyas bought a new one, nothing but problems back to shop replaced with another new one first one sent to GMK. Second gun same probs as first only fire first cart most times and jam not ejecting the first cart ,pain to get out, both guns cleaned thoroughly before first use tried running dry and wet with oil, heavy carts didn't make a difference, so this gun went back to shop first gun was back from GMK fixed so was exchanged back again but still not working right. Took back and got a browning 725 now happy. Figgy

figgy
That's the one, good concept eject down to floor not the side and gun can be broke so safe. Figgy

timps
No good for deicated semi auto shoots, it can only shoot 2 carts before reloading. Dedicated semi auto shoots have 3 clays in the air at one time.

timps
but being fair is classed as a Break-open semiautomatic 2 shot not 3 shot Yep but the OP said he wants to get it so he can shoot some semi auto shoots as well, so it's no good for him if he still wants to do that. Dibs
Thanks all. Good point Timps, didn't think that through very well!!! If you shoot comps like the Benelli SP auto they do throw 3 shot layouts so a no go just on that alone.

timps
The Beneli shoot is the main reason I got mine it's a fantastic shoot. I know someone off here I shoot with who nearly bought one for it though
Fuji Shooter
If you want one, buy one and have some fun with it. Life is too short. As you say for around £1500 they do seem a bargain compared to what they started life at. Just be aware that that one has been for sale for the age of a pig. If you don't like it don't expect to turn it over quickly.
