Al69ec
How do I preserve wings to use for training? I can't have them in the freezer as her in doors won't allow it and I'm not going to be using them for some time yet. Would you just air dry them with salt like skins or are there other methods? Thanks
stubby
I've done magpie wings just by leaving under cover but well ventilated for a few weeks, dried perfect no smells

anser2
Pin then to a board and let them dry. What ever you do dont keep them in a plastic bag, they will rot.
Jody
I stick mine in a open tub and leave them in the shed for a few months. It will smell for a bit but once the flesh has gone you have some wings to use.
kent
Like many have said, pin them up to dry when there are no flies about. With the more meaty goose wings and the like you might want to trim some meat off first
