Yorkshire Pudding
1 of our lass's workmates are having bother with a fox. They own an old lurcher that has a heart condition, any excitement such as running a fox could make it keel over.Foxy loxy has taken to sleeping in there garden. They want rid of the fox but as they live in a built up area shooting said fox is out of the question, they can't snare or bate it cos of Jasper the lurcher. Any ideas for keeping this fox out of there garden would be greatly received. all the best yis yp

new to the flock
YP why not set a live trap up in the late evening after the old lurcher is in the house for the night. After said fox is in the trap take him for a one way ride out to the country.

Craigie
A few diesel soaked rags about the place for a few days should do the trick.
Rob G
I read in a book that human hair in a stocking placed around the area will keep foxes away =(
rjimmer
I read in a book that human hair in a stocking placed around the area will keep foxes away =( If you know where he is entering the garden, dangle your maggot, or empty the gerry there each evening. If you do it around larsen traps you rarely get them broken into by Charlie. Anybody with an open certificate to use a .22 and sound moderator, aught to be able to get a safe shot at it from an upstairs window.
