ayano3
Clakk, there is a serious side to us too. There is lots to learn to be a wildfowler, the consolation is you're in good company but at times you will wonder if we really know what we are doing, its usually when your knee deep in mud and water and no way back to safety. But we always make it to the breakfast

Big Mat
Clakk, if you get the chance, head down the marsh and have a look around to familarise yourself with the place before the seasons starts. I made several trips before the start of last season and it helped!
clakk
Will do mat once the snow clears off, another weekend wasted by bad weather.going try n come over to miss some clays with graham and find where things are ,rather than turn in in september going heh, what who hah eeek.as the pigeon shooters all say recon, recon and recon look for piles of hankies were grown men have been crying cos they cant hit owt.and piles of rusty cartridges where the ack ack boys have been .seriously though a good idea to see the marsh in good weather and get a good idea of the place atb clakk

kent
Wildfowling takes place below the mean high water mark. Shooting rivers / fed ponds, natural freshwater floods etc is just Duck and goose shooting. There is a difference as vast as there is between walking up grouse over pointers and say shooting pheasants driven out from the woods they were left in previous
