Gilberts1989
Here's a pic of my first fox. came right up to the hide and sniffed at a decoy no more than 3 meters away, worst mistake he ever made http://i1343.photobucket.com/albums/o793/gilberts89/4E5160CB-D2E8-4EDF-88BB-9C6D6A0B4AD2-4310-000002E4EA657AB9_zps5cf7d3ea.jpg

Gilberts1989
Nice what rifle were you using ? It was with a shotgun 30grm no 6 clear pigeon carts. Dropped dead in one shot
southeastpete
Nicely done gilberts, it was pretty obvious from your post it was a shotgun, and a good guess would be prob pigeon cartridge. Now they will ask what range, please say 50 yards! Because anything past about twenty and there will be dozens of people turn up to rip you a new one for using the wrong tool etc etc bla bla bla. but i just say good job on a dead fox :-)
Gilberts1989
Ok, if anyone asks I'm going to say 55yards. However in reality it was no more 4 meters when I took the shot. I know this for sure as I had only 3 meters of wire going to to flapper it was next to from my hide. It the end of the day though it got shot in the back of the head as it ran away, it didn't even twitch. No one can moan about that apart from LACS
