fella
Very impressive and probably the best way to do a large number of pheasants very quickly.

.philmypower.
To answer your question mate, no it doesn't work on any of the above, never tried on grouse though but would never just breast a bird like that. I tried it with a duck the season just gone and it just wasn't happening, their a lot tougher
fse10
Have done similar to a duck as you cut a slit just above brest insert index & middle finger under brest bone make cut just below bottom of ribs & put two fingers in & pull upwards you then have just the brest meat & wings that you take off, may well work with pigeons as well will give it go next time i shoot one. FalconFN
With pigeons you don't even need a knife, you only need to twist off the wings close to the body, tear skin between breast and crop, insert a finger into the chest cavity and pull hard. Peel of the rest of the skin and you have a clean pigeon crown. I'm sure there are videos on youtube.
Royboy
http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/37772-video-request-crowning-a-pigeon/ Here you go, Easy after a couple of times but i find it easier if i cut the wings of with good scissors. Damages meat less
