Spaniel
I have a friend who as started to make these. They come from Oak A frames and Purlins and huge support beams from a c17th century south gloucestershire barn. They originated from decommissioned wooden sailing ships that were scrapped and salvaged from Sharpness and Gloucester Docks. Dating from early c1600 going by the size of the beams the original oak trees must have been at least 500 years old. The wood is lovely and dark, wished i could of got some better shots to be honest What do you think Cheers Ian
