luckytrigger
Missed a good opportunity to bag my first fox this morning I set out with my shottie to bag some crows but noticed some crows wheeling around and then dropping down onto something and 'cawing' like mad... I thought they were probably harrasing a magpie as there was a trap in that location but as i walked around the headland i saw a fox trotting towards me.. I froze and it continued until it got to within about 40yds it then stopped saw me and raised a paw off the ground for a moment and then shot off.. I didnt even attempt a shot as i only had 6's in the shottie.. The rimmie was sat in the jeep too Ah well next time................

30-6
I second Henry D, well done for holding back. I seen a hare shot at with 6's, and it hobbled away pitifully.
