If anyone would like an extra set of hands when out shooting some charlie's just drop me a pm, i would like to gain more experience if possible, I'm based in Droitwich, Worcestershire i have applied for my fac and the local firearms officer would like me to gain more experience so if you can help there will be a few beers in it for you, cheers Adam

JDog
The general opinion on this forum is that you do the spade work and leg work and knock on lots of farmer's doors asking if you can shoot the vermin. When you have put some effort in and obtained somewhere to go then re-post asking if someone with experience and possibly an open certificate would like to go out with you. In that way you learn how to go about it and the PW member gets to show you how it's done with some shooting thrown in.

And if you read his post again you will see that his firearms department would like him to have a little experience before he is issued with a FAC. All the poor chap is doing is trying to get this experience not asking for a lecture from someone who can't be bothered to read his post correctly. He's not looking for somewhere to shoot, he's looking for help.

bikemad24
in my opinion if don't ask you don't get. iv been lucky that family friends are hunters so im learning all the time. if i was in adamskiseal position id do the same. WE have all had to start somewhere.Im Not an experienced hunter but learning all the time but if you lived in the north wales area id put you in touch with ailer whose teaching me, hes very patient and understands your going to make mistakes but its all part of the fun. well he still rings me when he goes out anyway! Good luck
