evo
just ordered some of the above in .22 and on inspecting them they look pretty strange around the inside of the skirt, they actually look as if they are made as a .177 and are coated again to make them into a .22 never noticed this before on any other pellet, they actually look like two pellets,,,, is this how they always are
shinybum
thats how they have always looked, and have shot them for along time, maybe 30 odd years
Alycidon
They used to be my pellet of choice when I shot air rifles. Good pellets. A
NIGHT SEARCHER
I have just had a look at my stock and the .22 superdomes are the same has yours. But my .177 superdomes don`t have the twin skirt look. My .22 RWS superpoints only have a single skirt to. I have always found superdomes to be very accurate in most of my guns. Only bettered by RWS superfields. I like the twin skirt you get very few distorted pellets and they don`t distort in FAC Rifles.
evo
thanks for the replies,i,ve never seen it on any other pellets, just thought i would buy a tin of the domes and also the super fields to give them a try through my rifle,so far i have found the jsb exact 15.89gr to be the most accurate but as usual always trying to improve the accuracy if its possible, got to admit the walls of the pellets look very strong, anyway thanks again all,, cheers Evo
garden gun
RWS top pellets and well priced. No swarf in the tin and do not corrode over time (in the tin). Our Gamos love them and the local vermin are, understandably, not that keen.

Underdog
In the eighties all RWS pellets had a thin feathered edge that dented easily. They changed to the skirt design you have many years ago due to complaints of to many dinged pellets in the tin. In them days thet were mustard. I don't like them so much now! Don't seem as good somehow! Hope you find them good though. U.
