Martin&Oakley
Went out today with another PW member on his permission for my first ever pigeon shoot. An excellent day, not many birds but it wasn't an issue as i managed to drop 2 birds at about 60yds with 30g 6 clear pigeon. My mentor was impressed, wasn't you? lol. However they didn't die on impact, either with shot or ground, both quickly dispatched, though one lost its head. My bad. Anyway, didn't take any photos on site but i have posted some ready to cook and ready eat ones. Left to right - soy sauce, hot and spicy mix, black pepper and salt. I have cooked them a little longer as i want them as lunch tomo, will that be ok?
JDog
Good for you on shooting your first birds. Pace out 60 yards to confirm that you did shoot them at that distance. It's a long way even for expert shots.

Martin&Oakley
Quite possibly pure fluke/luck, but a hits a hit. Was using a full choke. Its more fun then pheasents. Telf, my shot/kill ratio was shocking.
