mickh
Don't know about maximum overall weight but my x-trails tow bar has a maximum nose weight of 100kg. Most cars are only 80kg.

neil w
train weight !!!
andypaint
Find the chassis plate on that will be the weights of the two axles can take then third number is vehicle weight and last number is the permitted train weight. So take the vehicle weight away from max train weight and there's you maximum towing weight.
