New outlander or s/h sx3

After advice again, I fancy a new Outlander for 750 quid but I have seen a second hand Urica 1 and a second hand sx3, trouble is they all feel OK to me.

The Outlander is a no frills choice with only one choke supplied but has a ten year Beretta warranty, so my dilemma is if they have cheaper parts with the outlander would this effect reliability in the long term or get a second hand top draw semi for the same price.

Yes lovely guns, the sx3 does come up nice I quite like the raised rib on them too, thanks for the pics, I would definitely have the black synthetic.

Just checked the warranty and it is ten years warranty for 45 quid.

Cheers

Its ok mate I think the sx3 in camo new is about 800 and the maxus is 1049 its the carbon fibre finish but we have put the same spacer in each to suit me and my dad which is 2 in the back to extend lop 1/2 in and a number 1 r shim on the receiver which raise the comb about a 1/16 th of an in here's the finish up close which is all over apart from the side of the action

Gazbev, Interesting about the extended warranty for 45 quid. That sounds well worth it, out of interest have GMK told you that?? As said, , I literally emailed them on Tuesday and was told 1 year extended to 3 if Registered within 30 days....

for 45 quid it's a no brainier. That said, I do like the sx3!!

Yes Mike,

Not sure how to send links on this I pad but if you google 'gmk ten year beretta warranty' it's the top one, I bought a silver pigeon two years ago and they were doing the warranty free for three months, you are right about the three year warranty it still stands but it's 45 quid for the ten year one, I just looked. Cheers.

Chooses choices, I'm off work next week so will go and handle both again, I've got a feeling the sx3 will feel better but the shop with the beretta and the shop with the Winchester are about 30 miles apart.

If there is nothing in it I will go for the Beretta with the warranty, also I have a part ex Lanber 30" multichoke so I will see who gives me the best price on that.

As you have probably guessed I don't rush into things.

Suppose I could try and sell the Lanber on here

The outlander is one of the best fitting guns have ever shouldered, well at least for me anyway it just came right up on it. I had a remington versa max and took it back as it felt a little long and just didnt fit.
