lewis2012
Hi all barrel is factory screwcut to M14x1 and I know for a T8 mod which I believe is 1/2unf. So can the mod be re-threaded rather than having the barrel cut and re-threaded to 1/2 Thanks all

lewis2012
Would the adaptor be ok for a CF?

sonicdmb
I know this seems a simple fix to get an adapter but its not necessarily going to be right. you're relying on the adapter to be concentric and it may not be. don't know how much you know about threading for a mod so forgive me if you know this. when a barrel is set up in the lathe to thread it the bore is what you measure off not the outside of the barrel so the bore and the hole in the mod line up perfectly. In theory you would make the adapter on your barrel to make sure its right I'm not saying don't use an adapter but do check it.
