The hardest bit would be to get a full body deek with some means of fixing it to a stake. Make sure the detachable wings have holes in the bits that go in the body. Drill a hole in the underside of the body and pass a bit of fishing line through the slit in the body side and out the underside of the body. Use another bit of fishing line and pass it through the deek body. Tie each end of this to both wings through the holes in the bits that go into the deek body. Make the line long enough so you can take the wings out when you have finished with it. Take the other piece of line and attach it to the piece joining the wings, preferably in the middle. Pull this line from underneath the body after you have put the wings in the body. You should find the wings will move together. I would attach a ring or swivel to the end of the line so you can sort out the length you want to the hide.

In order to get the wings to drop back you want to find a light spring and attach one end to the piece joining the wings and the other end to the base of the deek. I suggest drilling a hole through your stake or tube and putting a split pin through it after fitting the eye to the other end of the spring. It is only needed to pull the line joining the wings up towards the body. Something like a biro spring should suffice. You don't want it too strong.

Just a thought but it should work.
