Donnie
Afternoon all, Was just wanting to know if it is possiable to go on a stalk when you do not have a license for a fire arm? The reason I ask is im thinking of booking a stalk (hopefully successful one) in january for my 30th with my bro inlaw. We both hold sgc but have never tried fire arms. Would we need to attend a range for a.few.sessions prior to.ensure we wouldnt cause any suffering to the animal due to never shooting fa berfore? If we could any suggestikns within a few hrs of birmingham and how.much it would roughly cost? Thanks
oscarsdad
Yes you can go without a FAC, I only have SGC and have been on a paid stalk. I went with muntjacstalker - advertised on here and stalking directory. You can have a few shots in the range to be comfortable with the rifle first. You are looking at £50-£70 for the stalk, then £70 upwards for the shot fee depending on species and size / medal etc. I think there is somewhere offering stalking your side of brim but not sure of the name. They were advertised a couple of weeks ago. Good luck S

al4x
Muntjac stalker is one of the better guys out there and you will see a lot of deer, they don't stalk over the summer when cover reduces your chances. Munties are a cracking deer to start on and certainly taste good
