brooksieledgend
Went out with the 223 last night as for some reason I was really itching to get out and have a look round .ao of I went trundling down the lanes I've seen two foxes messing about in a field I cannot shoot maybe this will be a good night I thought . I pull in the gate and load up by 8.30 drive round the first feild in to the next and spot fox number one she intrested in something as she dosent notice me wind down the window and put the crosshairs 1 vixen gave her once squeak she turnt broadside poomf the 50 grain vmax bowls her over. I sit there for a minute to see if a thing else appears and to my suprise fox 2 vixen walk up the hedge poomf he gets the treatment . I wait for a few more minutes and decide to drive around the next fields and I see fox 3 dog lying up in the lavender asleep the noise of my breaks alert him and his head pops up so I send another 50 grainier into the back of his head he wasny goin nowhere I decide to go and pick up the foxes I've shot and Debone the tails as I pick up the first fox I hear sheep bleeding in the background so I throw the foxes in the boot and drive to grass fields over the back as quick as I could sure enough fox 4 dog sitting right in the middle of the sheep have it a while untill the sheep cleared so I could get a safe shot sent a bullet his way sure enough he dropped on the spot 243 yards to be precise was pleased a punch 4 foxes in a hour decided I'd give lamping a miss and went home. All heathly animals the vixens were milking so decided to go back and find the cubs which I think I may have today. Have to go back with 22lr and deal with them tomorrow thanks for reading Elliott
