Posted May 7, 2013 Report Share Posted May 7, 2013 hi gents, after a horrendous nights lamping on friday, i've managed to bodge up a bracket to mount the lamp on the barrel using some rubber strip and a 30mm weaver mount. this seemed to work well on the sunday so i was wondering if someone could make me up a few alloy collars to tidy it up and make it look all profeshnul like. the only snag is that 2 of the barrels are tapered, would it be a problem making a tapered hole to suit? if anyone can do it then let me know and we can sort out details. cheers paddy. Posted May 8, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 8, 2013 ok, either i smell really bad, or you lot didn't understand what i meant. one more try, 1,lamp mounts to 30mm weaver scope mount, 2, the ring bit of scope mount goes round barrel, 3, need a bit of ally 25mm thick with 30mm O/D, and barrel dia' I/D to take up the slack. just thinking of keeping business between us shooters and putting a few quid in someone's pocket. cheers, paddy.
