Paul T
I love bank voles - had a colony of them as pets years ago & even had some albino ones. Wood mice also very pretty & I occasionally find them in my traps. So, I trust that with the exception of the Rattus, you let others go? .philmypower.
Yes all mice shrews and voles get realesed and the rats dispatched. I've been using the live traps as its surprising what you find in them, I even had a hedgehog the other day. Lovely to see and even nicer to see released. I bought the traps of good old eBay. The mouse trap is a Chinese import, tenner with postage and the rat traps canbe bought from most garden centres.
bicykillgaz
Cool, do you need to put water in them or do you just check them regularly?
TaxiDriver
One of the guys off here kindly sent me some rat traps including a live catch rat trap like in the video, ****** of a thing to set, and as yet I havent caught a thing in it
.philmypower.
I haven't been putting water in as I check about 3 times a day. As for setting the trap I can't see what your struggling with. Only advice I can really give is set it along a wall as rats like to keep tight to walls as there on the move.
