Anyone on here got the nightmaster 800?

What you all think of it compared to a hand held lamp?

Was looking at a NM800 to scan + lamp charlie rather than hump a big battery pack around.

Considering its the same price as the cluson blazerlite package then its a great possibility.

Any opinions would be great

Thanks all

Hi buddy, I got Red Led one .

To be honest only used it a couple of times since receiving it .

It appears to frighten most of the rabbits I have used it on. , but have taken several foxes with it.

I will keep it and use it as a spotter and get a ND3 x 50. I would get an extra battery or the Turbo kit at least.

I've got one mate...with the white light and red and amber LED...in my opinion it's a fantastic bit of kit...only used it 3 times so far but had another couple of foxes with it using the red LED...haven't used the amber yet but with the white light it's awesome for spotting those tell tale eyes at a distance...I was watching a fox last night at work at about 350/400 meters with the white light and I could see it quite well with the naked eye..

I have the IR plus green and red LED,

Brilliant piece of kit, i got one for use whilst on my own, i must say ease of use compared to a lamp and a battery is such a doddle.

I do still use a cluson LED for spotting though if on foot.

I think the white will be tooooo bright for bunnies,Fox's well i'm not sure i've only used the red with good results, the Green will get used this coming week (weather permitting).

I'm having a high power but multi mode red made for mine. At full power it'll be twice the brightness of the dereelight one but with the option to have 30% and 60% settings with a memory mode. Should be good.

I wouldn't want to use white light, I don't like it to lamp with. Green I've found to be useless. I much prefer red or amber.
