Fudge40
I'm after a bit of help. A friend of mine has an air rifle which he has had for years. It now required a new main spring but he does not know the make or model. He has taken it to a traders who deal in air rifles but they have no idea on the make or model. Is there someone on the forum that might be able to tell me so I can pass this on so he can source a new main spring. All I know is that the rifle was made in hungary and has a serial number of 01510 L6 527 I have attached a picture of the Rifle also. Hopefully someone can help

Paladin
To find a suitable replacement spring you need to know the wire dia. the spring outside dia. and count the amount of coils. To match with the replacement. You need to know all this to make sure that when you cock the barrel, the spring will compress without binding and the compressed length will allow it to cock. It will also need to be regulated to give the correct poundage. Any airgun smith would be able to do this for you.
