pin
Nope. Certainly not in the way that there is with regard to section 1 ammunition (and others like section 5 etc). Even when certificates were made compulsory it wasn't mandatory to produce one in order to buy shells, until reasonably recently. I still keep mine out of sight and reach, separate from the guns. webber
I dont make the rules, I just try to stay on the right side of them. I trear cartridges as currency, when I spot a bargain I buy some. With the way the cost of metals is rising, its not as daft as it sounds. webber

Hunter
I use a 5 gun cabinet, and pistol safe for ammunition/Moderators etc. The way I see it is that I have been granted the possibility of owning firearms and ammunition, and the least I can do in return for the people doing the crumy paperwork, is prevent anything being misused
hawkeye
Dont know how many you keep ive just counted up and have in my bedroom wardrobe 16 boxes of 250 per box . Mungler
I probably have 6000 shells in the shed, but a heavy weekend's shooting can knock 2000 off easy (I supply 2 other shooters). Like Webber, I keep my eyes out for a bargain and then buy in bulk - it's not like they are not going to get used is it?
