eccles
Just been to a new mountain farm shooting rabbits. Met cousin Wednesday morning as i was leaving a field after shooting crows, said would i go to 1 her father in laws farms to sort out the rabbits. Did say i'd go this morning but to wet, went earlier just to have a look really but took the HMR in case. Found the farm ok no one at home only the old girl, said i was going for a look. Walked to the first gate looking up the track rabbits all along it popped off 3,walked to next gate small field on left of track and hedge to the side about 30+ rabbits on track popped off a few more, Walked on a bit few gaps in hedge looking up narrow field 100y max rising up with a big hill full of rabbits. Sat with rifle poking through hedge popping them off until i ran out of ammo. had 25+ picked up the nearest few and the ones on tracks 9 total for my mates hawks. Think this farm has a serious rabbit problem, will have to ring him in morning. If all the land there is like this i'll have to get some help to clear them. I'll have to go up and see Welon to see where all the rabbits are on his land.Land is great for rifle shooting all hilly banks and small woods etc.Bet there must be loads of foxes on it. its a huge mountain farm.Iv'e got to many farms with rabbit problems at the minute might put post up on here to see if anyone near me would fancy plenty of shooting. Good luck on the crows weekend bud atvb Terry

eccles
Just been to this farm again 20+ in a hour and a half missed quite few left them where they dropped. Must zero HMR tomorrow not hitting right spot but there was a fair cross wind. Had a look up the other valley before i left rabbits everywhere should have go there no wind. Think that valley will be a drive round in 4x4 and lamp first time then round with the archer. Think i'll pass this farm on to some young buck ain't doing the OLD MANS back any good. Looks a fantastic place for foxing though. plenty of gorse, woods etc.
