harrycatcat1
Derbyshire Dale let me have a go with his 8 bore today, well the duck was there for the taking stood stock still all on its own. I was a bit apprehensive as I had never shot an 8 bore before so I took aim and bang it went over and knew that I had hit it as it tipped over. I learned today though that I will stick with my sx2 12 bore as carrying that 8 bore about it is heavy and you could do with a donkey to carry it so those who have and use 4 or 8 bores regularly have my respect as it kicked like a mule as well. So thanks very much to Derbyshire Dale for allowing me to use it on the duck. Oh and by the way the "duck" was drawn on a white cardboard box, still good fun though. Regards Hcc

harrycatcat1
are you sure it wasn't a pigeon ? No mate, he assured me it was a duck, it would be a bit daft shooting a pigeon drawn on a cardboard box
