Reeceknight
I do miss my car forums and was glad to find a motoring section on here, and thought I would use my 4x4 as an excuse to show u my cars lol so as follows My 300 bhp focus rs that was my track weopon and i still miss her now, fast and fun!!! Mine isn't the white and blue lol Althought this isn't mine this was me having a play in my friend 415 bhp evo against the mighty cosworth, turns out no matter how much power you have you can never guess the car next you and that 20 year old cossie smashed me 3 out of 3 runs lol Then this popped up for sale and I always wanted one so.... Well life's for living!! .......mk2 golf gti Ok then here is we're my car journey hit a rough patch, I got a welding job in dagenham and that meant traveling some miles so I sold up and purchased something sensible.....ish My 20v turbo s line Audi Then a mishap that changed my life, this was a bypass accident, in the dark at 70mph and a honestly avoided death with in a second with a few on coming cars, once stopped I was just in the middle of a dark unlit bypass with no lights whilst cars skidded around me who didn't see me antil last minute, dispite injuries I would say I was ok Them I restored a 1.6 205 gti back to mint factory condition Then a purchased an x sprint car, so it was a 205 gti shell with a MI16 engine on carbs, when I bought it it had a cage and one seat, so made it a VERY fast road car, and loved running it at the strip but my car accident had affected me and I was nervous in a car and understood now how quick things go rong So here she is 190bhp, power to weight ratio ment she was faster than anything iv driven (or felt like it) So why are we here you ask? To see Reece's 4x4! Well of course here she is! Dad had it 11 years then I got my hands on it and see some potential! 3ltr trayback caged and raged off road fun! Before it became for mainly offroad it looked like this I'm running out of steam now, since these I have had a Saab turbo, fiesta st, fiat pinto and now have a tdci.Hope u enjoyed my trip down memory lane or I hope it at least passed some time if you have a bit of petrol in your veins
karpman
Love that 205 always loved em had 3 1.6's and a 1.9 the more standard the better and the 1600's were a better drive in my humble opinion. Thanks for sharing your other passion, lucky to get outa that wreck mate. Karpman

ferguson_tom
Nice collection of motors, I think you may be one of the only people who change their cars more often than me but mine have been a bit more boring and slow because of insurance. I will own a Focus RS one day though. Did you have the RS when 17?
Twistedsanity
I spent years at santapod but went to the Prescott hillclimb last weekend, much more fun and now I'm a full convert , the scuderia did 48.5 seconds and the evo did 46 seconds much to his disgust :-) , anything goes with hillclimbing and there are no rules other than basic safety

Think I got the Rs around about my 19th , because the fiesta st was the car before the Rs lol iv even confused myself here, focus was the 4th car I owned I think so yer maybe just before 19, I just paid the insurance and got on with it. Wanted a 3door seirra cossie and went to buy a moonstone blue one from Harlow Essex and came back with the focus lol cossie insurance was abit to much! Il put some finished pic up of the focus when I'm home with all the mods etc I havnt had these bought for me I saved up about 7000 ish and financed another 6 for the focus etc and that since has bought cars etc and ohhhh how much money I have lost lol
