naddan28
could you tell me what these predators are (other than us humans with shottys and rifles )?
Ferretboy111
Id say any predator would take one, ie: fox, pine martin, mink, stoat, some birds of prey! If its in the wrong place at the wrong time then anything would take it! Alex
Hairy Pat
I've had friends who have had their dead crow decoys hit by Buzzards. Pat
naddan28
I've had friends who have had their dead crow decoys hit by Buzzards. Pat however i thought cros mobbed buzzards in the air? perhaps the buzzrds only hit the decoys as they were clearly dead? I was thinking of other prey and other than wildcats, foxes and other birds of prey i really coundl not think of anything else that would happily hunt a living crow? henry d
Red Kites take them regularly or so I was told by a warden on a nearby estuary.
Ferret Master
Birds of prey do and will take crows. FM
Hairy Pat
Hi Naddan If buzzards were no danger to a crow they would have no reason to mob them. I have seen crows ignoring a hunting kestrel and peregrine falcon, but never seen a buzzard ignored. Pat
