digital range finder

hold on thats not quite right sorry Martin lol just found this, it explains how this range finder works

 

 

 

as it says you input the size of the object and it mathamatically works out the size as the guy says in the video not good for hunting as it is a bit slow but I would have thought it would be ok for setting up a target for zeroing which is what i would use it for anyway

Yes thats right! But what I mean is you need to know the exact height of your target! To be fair IF you KNOW the height of your target then fair enough, but each bunny and each deer are different and will give you a false range!

 

You would be better off getting familiar with your permission and distances between way points!

 

Lije I say there are laser ones cheap on the bay too ;)

I recently got a hawke lrf600 for my birthday, I wanted it to see what the fuss was about with them

 

having used it for 2 months my rabbit kills have increased dramatically, just a quick laze when a shot appears and I then know straight away what my holdover needs to be

 

cant praise them enough
