JDog
Been out this morning and shot a few cross breeds...anyone else finding these more and more common It is highly unlikely that you have ever seen let alone shot a bird which is the result of a woodpigeon crossed with a ferral. To shoot... 'a few cross breeds'..... in one session means a mistake in your identification.
rjm365
I didnt mean a few cross breeds, my mistake meant i shot a few and what looks like a cross breed- all the charastics of a woody but with faint blue bars on the wings
Penelope
I would suggest they may be Stock Doves, a protected species. I would also suggest that you stop shooting them straight away and get some serious quarry and non quarry identification done! If you are not 100% sure that what you are raising the gun at is legal, don't. Absolute quarry ID should be a prerequisite for all sportsman.
