Sir_Adam
So I was at CLA yesterday and I stumbled across this... http://www.ghostblind.com This has got to be one of the best products I have ever seen for concealment ever all be it a little expensive. Now I like setting up a hide I'm pretty good at it and I do enjoy matching it to my surroundings, but this takes time, valuable time. More time that could be spent pigeon bashing. So the question is... Do I part with some cash, (259 pound notes) save an incredible amount of time and that hassle of having multiple nets for different back drops or do I stick to the fieldcraft and hard work? crossy 666
It's a lot of £ and I think the wind will keep blowing it over
The Ghost
Great bit of kit, the video was very impressive....unlike the price. I could think of some great rabbit shooting locations I could set up with my air rifle and have a great time. You could always buy one Sir_Adam and we could test it out
Sir_Adam
Hmm I am very tempted, maybe I could buy one and rent it out! With regards to the wind crossy it pins to the floor and has bungee cords to tighten in the sides seems plenty stable. bostonmick
I would wait and let some others spend their hard earned first,i am sure someone will bring out a cheaper copy if it is any good, only comment on it is it seems you have to crouch down behind it and my knees cant cope with to much of that,
henry d
OK lets think about this, how many pictures were from a pigeons eye view rather than from a dee or turkeys point of view? A mirror reflects back to the POV of where it is observed and you would need to angle the mirror for the POV of a landing pigeon on all heights of its descent, basically impossible. Save your money and just learn some fieldcraft.
