Wrong forum.lol.but yes, i have a day off tomorrow (Friday) so if the weather is ok im going to go out with the gun in the morning to a field of cut down maize with a small wood behind it, which is a well known place for lots of crows, and the pigeons too.

hopefully if all is well that should go through till mid-day where i will have a walk round the farm and hopefully spook any resting pigeons in the tree's and take them too.

Saturday will probably be spent chilling

Sunday im going down the clay club for a 50 clay driven flush if the weather is ok

I am off shooting on sunday on my new land! This time i am going to get a proper showing round by the land owner for all the local hotspots for various quarry! Also he said he is going to take me claying in on the farm. So i imagine he is going to show me round in the landy (he has 5 farms, which i can shoot on) probably taking the shotgun and rifles.

can anyone tell me if it is going to be any good shooting pigeon on wheat with my rifle???

Umm..I wouldnt bother tbh..Air-rifles are best used in the wood for roosting pigeons.

If you can get close enough on the wheat to decoy them (within 25 yards) to get a clean kill. but i think thats your only hope.
