KPV4
I'm trying to find a court case that was heard in a magistrates court in the last two years. I have tried all avenues on-line without success. I don't have a case number only the court the case was heard in. Has anyone any ideas how I might find the info? The case was apparently reported in the local press but I have had no luck searching their archive.
Malik
Send a recorded letter to the relevant court which you know the case has been heard in. Request the information you require under the freedom of information act. Remember to add a return address. They normally send a letter back acknowledging your request and a time scale of when they will be able to give you the information you want. I think thats how you do it

I'd start with the press - search the news section of google and it might give you a clue. If you stick the details up here someone will be able to find the full case details but then we'd all know what you've been noseying into Edited July 25, 2013 by Mungler

four-wheel-drive
The problem with using google and others to find something it is an art I find that it helps to ask the question in as many different ways as you can think of.
Mungler
The use of +"insert key word to search for here" is your friend. There is an art to using Google properly and most people will never know half of what they could or should be doing. Andy135
Google has a decent help section with search guides. http://www.google.com/intl/en-GB/insidesearch/tipstricks/basics.html Might help to hone your searches.
