Goose and duck carts

Sorry to correct you.

It does not have to be steel shot but it does have to be non toxic.

However, since you have a steel proved 3.5" chambered gun, steel, which is by far the cheapest NTX would seem to be the best choice.

I`d go for steel 3" Gamebore Mammoth`s in no 3 (or 2.) shot for the ducks and 3.5" steel Gamebore Mammoth in BB`s for the geese.

Good luck on your flights.

Hi

In September I'm going on a goose morning shoot and an evenings duck shoot , I have never shot either before and have no idea what cartridge to take ?

I've got a Maxus 3.5 inch chamber

Any advice would be great

Cheers

3" mammoth or the 3-1/2" will do fine for the geese and gamebore do a 32g steel in 4s which will be ok for the duck.

if its a guided flight just keep down and let the guide watch them in and you just up and shoot on his call and you will be fine hope you enjoy it

Sorry to correct you but I don`t use non-toxic shot, so 3`s and 5`s in lead are OK.

Lots of love from over the border.
