junctiontwo
I'm about to buy my first SG and have my eye on the Winchester Select Energy (subject to fit etc). Prices seem to vary and I wonder if you'd all mind stating where you buy your guns from? I'm sure you're all keen to save money where possible and this info will help Mr Novice here! Thanks. Archie-fox
From a mate who owns a gun shop, he does them at cost price to me as he's a family friend but I buy everything else I need from him at retail price...

thepasty
get to know your local RFD, if they're a reasonable bunch and once you have a relationship formed they'll do all they can to help and retain your custom. From when I started shooting I approached my local RFD's and explained that I'd like to keep my custom local and in turn they responded with matching prices etc. I've now formed a good friendly relationship with both my local RFD's and am yet to need to shop anywhere else. parapilot
Ring around a few to get their best cash prices, then go to your local shop and ask if they will match the best price you have, try to support your local guys. If they won't then go the the best price quoted and buy it.
