mda998
is there much difference in them?, i suffer from recoil due to a shoulder injury, hence the reason i sell a few guns on here due to buying them then realizing they hurt too much
matone
Use a lot of 24g,no noticeable difference in performance. 65-67mm loads are what you want for softer recoil,70mm can still be pokey !
BooBooEH
How about a 20g - I reload mine with 21g of lead... or my new found joy, that of a 28g firing either 18 or 19g of lead. In the latter, 0.85g of A1 under a waxed cork wad makes for a real gentle round (made initially for the kids but now secretely shot by me). :-)
Livefast123
21g Hull Comp X are beautifully soft with no loss in performance (at least at my level ) where as 28g Diana Trap are savage!

Will Poon
My cartridge of choice are Cheddites 28g 8's these I use all the time but I bought a few slab of Hull 21g 7.5 fibre wad for my sxs for its 65mm length there very good indeed , very noticeable reduction in recoil
shaun4860
i think that may be the way forward for me coupled with a kick eez then i can keep my gun thanks guys I also use 21g compx with a kickeeze great combination,
Grazy
Agree with the hull comp x. I use gamebore 28g velocity and the other half uses the comp x. The difference is recoil is massive and when I run out of carts and use hers, I still average the same number of hits.
Hamster
There is a difference yes, if you miss a lot and don't know why then you won't detect that difference but if you know the reason for your misses then you're at the kind of level it takes to feel the difference. neutron619
19g of #7 through a tightish choke, preferably from a 28 gauge - it'll do for clays, pheasant, pigeon - anything small to medium really.
