My 14 year old lad is getting just too good with his 410 and I think its time to move him up to something a little stronger. Pippin pup Posted August 4, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 4, 2013 Thanks for that Gary, I already have an Armsan 20 bore which he has tried but the Stock is hollow synthetic and cannot be shortened. the Barrel is 28" and its all a bit long for him. Gordon R Posted August 18, 2013 Report Share Posted August 18, 2013 I bought one from derekbomag - top lad. I cut it down as he suggested and put a fresh pad on. I can extend it as my grandson grows. I also bought a cheap Franchi 48AL stock - almost fits straight on. Took two minutes to get a proper fit. This is the original - finished in stonecoat. Had it not been for you, I probably wouldn't have had the confidence to cut a synthetic stock. I cut the stock and made a wooden insert to fit at the butt end. I then epoxied it into place - nice and solid - to screw the recoil rubber to and any future extension. Stonecoated the Franchi stock at the same time.
