Escort 20 bore Youth model.

Has any body got one of these not getting any use?

My 14 year old lad is getting just too good with his 410 and I think its time to move him up to something a little stronger.

I am after one with the spacers to adjust stock length as he is not that long in the arm at the moment.

Thanks.

Thanks for that Gary,

I already have an Armsan 20 bore which he has tried but the Stock is hollow synthetic and cannot be shortened. the Barrel is 28" and its all a bit long for him.

He has been using the Mossberg 410 and is quite good with it. 24" barrel 1/2 choke.

Regards

Robin

I'd be open to a swap if your interested. I barely use it and miss having a .410 in my locker.

Never liked the idea of a youngster with an auto  seen to many adults with thumbs trapped in the bolt to let the lad have one

We've all done it I've done it a couple of times when cleaning my old escort semi, its how you learn not to leave them there when the bolt flys forward!

  • 2 weeks later...

I bought one from derekbomag - top lad. I cut it down as he suggested and put a fresh pad on. I can extend it as my grandson grows.

I also bought a cheap Franchi 48AL stock - almost fits straight on. Took two minutes to get a proper fit.

This is the original - finished in stonecoat.

Steve - thank you. Were you shooting rifle or game today?

Derek - grandson loves it. Had it not been for you, I probably wouldn't have had the confidence to cut a synthetic stock.

I cut the stock and made a wooden insert to fit at the butt end. I then epoxied it into place - nice and solid - to screw the recoil rubber to and any future extension.

Stonecoated the Franchi stock at the same time.
