I'm having problems with getting spent cartridges out of my boys 410!

They dont come out without the use of a knife!!!

I've given using it after half a dozen shots as I'm a bit concerned theres a problem with it?

We dont use it much. The cartridges are 2 1/2 inch as is the chamber?

I've given the chamber a bit of a scrub to see if it was gummed up.

I can't work it out?

Any ideas?

Could it need attention underneath(!)

Take the stock off and look at the spring which runs from the stock bolt to the trigger. Where the stock bolt goes into the nut, the nut itself is detachable & threaded.

If the stock bolt nut is loose this might allow the extractor to drop so that it does not engage with the bolt when you open it ?

arjimlad, is spot on, I have one of these , and had extractor problems when I first got it.

It was bent, and did not collect the spent cartridge as the bolt was pulled back.

Good luck with it , great little gun.
