Underdog
In a way! I whistled this ole' girl down to three yards and recon I got the first ounce in her at four yards all be it a bit off in all the excitement and as she writhed away got the second ounce in her at ten yards.....seconds in time value. Her limping buddy watched from afar....that'll keep! In the photo's you can see she has been knicked at some time on one of her legs and don't forget her buddy was limping so looks like they have had previous contact! You can also see where I put my bloomin knee in a cow pat ! @&%$! The personal best is getting one down to three yards...I love it when they are close. If I had a choice of three or threehundred yards I would take three yards everytime! The Franchi seems to shoot a little high for me so I'm gonna have to drop the stock a little! I'll get there! Underdog
John Waynes favourite Winchester was a 94 in 38/55wcf and a 92 in 38/40wcf. A 30wcf blown out to .375, straight cased a little like a smaller version of 45/70. A good round, later Winchester made the .375BB (big bore) which was a 38-55 but with slightly thickker brass so it could be loaded to a little more pressure. As to inpersonating J.Wayne.....I have no interest in. U Edited August 20, 2013 by Underdog
