non expanding .17 hmr ammo

One expands the other doesnt :good:

 

 

Most people use polymer tipped bullets in the hmr and when they hit anything the expand violently and mushroom and fragment tearing up everything it hits

 

Non expanding ammo ie full metal jacket wouldnt expand very much at all when they hit anything

 

Basically if your shooting a rabbit the polymer tips will create a big wound channel and wont penetrate a huge amount and if you hit them in the head they clean it out. If you do the same thing with FMJ's they will generally penetrate the length of the rabbit without and deformation at all and with very little fur damage
