My 14 month springer is never still he gets plenty of walks .Indoors he runs about with his nose on the ground at one point he rubbed the skin of his nose. He also runs after shadows i have put tape over his name tag as he was chasing the reflection . He only stops if i make him sit next to me or put him in the cage. Dipper.

I'm no expert, but I would say that 14 ,months is still very young and whilst the dog is physically excercised, is it mentally excercised?

I have found with my dogs, that giving them a task tires them out quicker than a run or walk? Things like a kong stuffed with their frozen food, a bone or even making them search for their food by throwing it over the garden and making them work for it.

Good luck!
