ditchman
if it is maize that is cut for silage...then ive never had much luck on it........but if it is maize cover strip for game shooting that is slashed down with the machine at the end of the season, then its the best thing since sliced bread for attacting pigeons...... JDog
Maize can be a great attractant for pigeons and corvids. However it is well known that it is difficult to set a decoy pattern on the maize stubble itself which will draw in birds effectively. Choose a windy day and set your pattern on an adjacent field down wind on the flight line.
