Brand new or second hand BRAND NEW FRANCHI http://www.guntrader.co.uk/3rdparty/Donald...050322131502008 SECOND HAND BERETTA http://www.guntrader.co.uk/3rdparty/Donald...061113095004001 Or a brand new escort around 350 ish (sorry no picture) The gun would be used purely for game shooting. the last engineer
scratch that Berreta, its over priced, you can pick them up new for that money, heard good things on the franchi and the escort. im not saying dont buy the Berreta just that its over the top, great gun but get real for a second hand field, with the new gun you havew a little comfort in warranty. good luck in your choice Martin
luckytrigger
If your doing mainly hide shooting you could pick up a really nice remmie 1100 for less than £300 s/h. Mine is a great hide gun but a little weighty for rough shooting although it doesnt really bother me
Whitebridges
Auto's have a place on the foreshore and the clay ground. The main problem with them is when you are shooting with someone they cannot immediately tell whether you are(the gun) is safe or not. They can be extra hard to clean properly as well. If you rough shoot on your own then fine. Sort of. Seriously consider getting an O/U or S/S. Try them first and get the gun fitted. Seek advice from your local gunsmith, It will pay you in the long term I promise. For me beretta auto's are the best. Although I much prefer browning/miroku o/u's.
